PETER D. WOLF is an Environmental Attorney experienced in many facets of Real Estate practice. He is a graduate of Grinnell College, Northwestern University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor (JD) Degree, and Pace University Law School where he graduated with a Masters in Laws and Letters (LLM) Degree in Environmental Law.

 

Mr. Wolf was admitted to the Bar of the District of Columbia and is presently practicing in the State of New York. He is a Member of the Green Real Estate Committee of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association, and many other Bar and Professional Associations.

 

 

In the late 1980s, Peter D. Wolf served as House Counsel to an environmental consulting firm. In the early 1990s, he founded and was Chief Executive Officer of CLEAR (Corporation for Land Environmental Audits and Remediation), which performed Phase I Audits and studies of Commercial Properties.

 

From 1995 to 2006, Mr. Wolf served as Chair of the Conservation Commission for the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.  He was recognized by the Town of Greenburgh, and received a Certificate of Distinguished Service from Westchester County for his work on the Conservation Commission.

 

Mr. Wolf co-founded the Green Building Professional Consortium, a development company to build and promote environmentally conscious buildings. GBPC developed a two-unit townhouse called River Town House in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, which received the first Platinum LEED for Homes certification in Westchester in 2009; Mr. Wolf  served as House Counsel and Project Manager for River Town House LLC.

 

Mr. Wolf has authored many articles including one for the New York State Bar Practice Journal on Environmental Auditing. He has spoken at professional events numerous times, including a talk in French at the French Consulate on U.S. environmental laws. Mr. Wolf was the main speaker at a Case Study of River Town House before the Green Building and Construction Law Committees of the Real Property section of the New York State Bar Association.  Most recently, his article on the New York State Energy Code was published in Autumn 2016.
